We were back at the field for a 5:30pm game and this time against North Wake's 7U team. We won in 4 innings...24-0. We played great baseball! Here's how it looked...
DEFENSE...
1st inning:
Kaden (short) to Ian (first) for out #1.
Lawson (second) to Ian (first) to end the inning.
2nd inning:
Isaac caught a fly ball in left field for the first out.
Kaden had an unassisted play at shortstop for the second out.
Lawson had an unassisted play at second for the third out.
3rd inning:
Jacob (pitcher) to Ian (first) for out #1.
Chris (third) to Logan (second) for out #2.
Ben caught a fly ball in right field for out #3.
4th inning:
Isaac caught a fly ball in left field for an out.
Logan (second) to Luke H (first) to end the inning.
Great job outfielders for backing each other up in both games...Isaac, Luke H, Lawson, Lukas, Chris, Jacob, Ben, Logan and Luke F!
Also, hats off to the catchers...Ben, Luke F, Lukas and Trey!
OFFENSE...
Kaden: 4-4 with 1 RBI
Lawson: 2-3 with 1 RBI
Luke F: 0-1 but will get them next time
Lukas: 4-4 with a double and 1 RBI
Luke H: 4-4 with a double and 6 RBI
Chris: 4-4 with 1 RBI
Ian: 2-3 with a triple and 3 RBI
Trey: 1-1 with 1 RBI
Isaac: 2-4 with a triple and 4 RBI
Jacob: 1-4 with 1 RBI
Ben: 3-4 with 1 RBI
Logan: 3-4
We just wanted to make sure everyone who remained at the tournament knew that West Raleigh was still in town! ;-)
We're back in action tomorrow (Sunday) at 1pm!!!
The 8U team won both games today, so they play tomorrow night at 6pm in the winner's bracket!
